Gotta say, it doesn't really do it for me to be watched by such an uptight old man like you. But if your knights are having such a problem with it, might wanna consider having them find other day jobs.
[ Ash, similarly, refuses to be baited or intimidated. Honestly, he'd be glad if this guy just left him to it, and he doesn't even bother to look over at him now. Not when the dragon's preparing to attack-- which is fine by him, because he's already charging forward, eyes narrowed as he flings the scythe out.
And it transforms, for lack of a better word, the handle splitting about to reveal a series of chains brutally aimed to wrap around the dragon's snout. ]
[An upright old man? Who does this moronic fool think he is? Oh, Jasper’s cruel amusement fades back into a festering glower, and he thinks that if this man is snapped up by the jaws of this beast, he should congratulate the dragon and let it block the road just a little longer as a reward.
Whatever snide remark he might’ve replied with has no time to leave his lips, however. From his angle, he watches as the stranger’s scythe is thrown and changes, extending into chains and clamping around the dragon’s snout. Flames coil from its nostrils as it rears up with a stifled roar, and its tail whips back and forth. Jasper has to scurry out of the way, clicking his tongue, to avoid being hurled away by way of collision.
Unfortunately, that puts him right beside this cocksure young man, and if he pushes him out of the way out of annoyance, then.....too bad.]
Move out of the way. [He sneers, calling up a whorl of dark magic in his hand. While the dragon struggles to push off the weapon with clawed forearms, he hurls it in the creature’s direction — the chains slip off just in time for it to take the hit, roaring in pain and rage, instigated into charging blindly in both of their directions.]
