[What a coincidence, he does, too. Henry leans in close enough to brush his lips against hers.]

Mm. That’s all?

[ darts her tongue out to lick at his lip, just once. starting to sit up, curl close in the tent the blanket makes.

[He'll accept that concession for what it is.

No reply as she tries to sit up; he seals his mouth against hers. A kiss, she'll receive — even if it does impede her ability to straighten, which is fine by him, too. He wouldn't mind kissing her while she's lying down on his lap.]

[ mmh. he tastes good, she thinks as her eyes flutter shut and her lips part for him. and he smells... good. and the warmth coming off him, while not as intense as her own, is good, too.

threading her fingers into that soft, pretty hair of his, right at the nape, and holds him like that. nothing else, then, but the sounds of their breathing and kissing. ]

[He doesn't care what anyone says, or even her own opinion on the matter — he associates her vaguely sulfuric skin scent with comfort. To him, she smells good, too, and it intermingles with the still-present aroma of freshly brewed tea, adding an exoticism to what's become a familiar scent.

Being enveloped by it, covered by the blanket, kissing her like this... It's really the embodiment of being happy. An emotion trapped behind a locked door that only she'd been able to unlock for him after all these years.

He could stay like this forever.

Henry kisses her gently but deeply, breaking it only briefly for a breath; and even then, he kisses the corner of her mouth, lips bent into a smile. Blurts out his thought-]

You smell nice.

[velluminous]

[ half-lidded, her lips twitching in a wordless smile. only he would think that. all those years, perfuming the room to hide what she is. she has never been ashamed to be tiefling, but the smell sometimes brought her close.

another kiss. she skims her tongue along the edges of his, and his lips. smiling. this is as whimsical as she gets, sometimes.

murmurs, ] Breathe while you kiss me. Don't pull away.

[Even the smallest touch of whimsy is notable coming from Sprezzatura. And he takes her suggestion to underline the more obvious: more kissing, less interruption.]

Maybe I want to look at your face on occasion, too.

[ he's good. ]

[And yet all of his flattery is also 100 percent sincere.

Lifts his head up a little more so he does, indeed, have more leeway to look down at her.]

[ she gazes up. ]

[ against his lips, ] Always, it is appealing. Have I not been giving you enough attention, lapochka?

[ she sinks back into his lap and unravels the blanket from over their heads, unless he resists it. ]

You have all of me now.

[His powers tug the blankets back up to keep them aloft, and that’s how they’ll remain unless she really makes an effort to be rid of them.]

And I’d like to take advantage of that in the bed, but… [but their sons are in there, weep] …the loveseat will have to do.

[ it is. she has settled back down, quiet and lazy. a crinkle of amusement in her eyes—he really wants the blanket up. ]

I am not having sex in our sitting room.
