[What is problematic is not the dragon that sits directly in the road that leads to the Kingdom of Heliodor, interrupting both trade routes and travelers that would flow in and out; Jasper is rather equipped to deal with such creatures, even if he is at least ten times smaller than the lumbering, scaly thing that is now rising to its haunches, agitated, claws digging into the earth. He has the guile, the strength, and the magic to deal with it, even without a cadre of silver-armored knights riding out with him.

No, what is problematic is the stranger who is assaulting said dragon in a fight that’s starting before he can properly instigate it himself. He doesn’t know this young man, and he does not care to — he only cares that he is interfering with his job, and making it all the more difficult to deal with. An angry dragon is harder to slay. He has lost the advantage of surprise, thus twisting his plans in a direction he never accounted for.

Jasper does not like it when his plans fall to pieces due to someone else’s carelessness.

And so, nearing, he dismounts his horse, armor clanking and sword ringing as he unsheathes it, stepping closer.]

What is it you think you are doing? None shall shed a tear for you if you die from such foolishness.

[hello?? leave??]
