[Honestly? There’s plenty confusing and troubling about the future that Eddie could pick up on, plenty worrisome about being trotted from universe to universe, world to world. He wonders what that means for him back home— No, he knows it means there’s nothing left for him back home, really, but what does it mean for his future? Here, being with her, in her home world is the most grounding experience yet. He doesn’t want this one to end so suddenly, without warning. Though the shadow of his old life still hangs over his head like a funeral veil, moments like these feel like a shred of normalcy in a time where normal has become a rarity.
Of course, he doesn't say any of that, though, even if some of it flickers through his expression. And is that ironic after Haru's just said "you'll talk to me about it"? Sure. But they have a movie to watch!]
